Micro soccer is geared to the developmental levels and capabilities of younger players. The WAYS Micro soccer program applies to our first and second grade players. Third graders continue to play intramural 6v6 soccer in the fall before joining the travel team league in the spring.

Some basic features of Micro soccer are: fewer players on the field, simpler rules, smaller fields, and shorter periods of play. As a result, younger players will be more engaged in the game, have more opportunities to touch the ball and score more goals
